The FJ43 is nearly the same as its slightly smaller FJ40 brother, but it has a longer wheelbase. Produced until 1984, the FJ43 has been able to command somewhat of a premium vs. the FJ40, because of its more limited availability than the FJ40. Under the hood is a 4. 2L 2F inline six, which, combined with its 4-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case, gives plenty of gear ratios to choose from to allow its driver to get in and out of places that lesser vehicles wouldn't even attempt.
