For sale in our Nashville showroom is a classic 1966 Chevrolet Caprice. This 2 door Caprice for sale is looking sharp all dressed up in Tan with the bright work nice and shiny. One walk around this old gal will bring back memories, most good unless you ever took a short ride in the back seat of one painted black and white. This Caprice for sale is in remarkable shape for being 52 years old and once you open the door and have a seat you will notice that everything is as it was. The dash looks like it would have in 1966 no Stewart Warner ® gauges or Tach stripped to the steering column. In fact, the most remarkable thing about this car is how unremarkable it is! It just looks like it should, a good honest car, heck even the steering wheel is intact and not cracked. Under the hood lies the well made, numbers matching 283 cubic inch V8 that is backed by a Automatic transmission and both are ready to cruise the local spots or to hit the road in search for new ones. Options for this 1966 Caprice for sale include Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power brakes, Power steering, Cloth interior, Seat belts, Hub caps, Spare tire and Jack. 1966 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 327 Small Block
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 87,244 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1966 Impala 2-door. The exterior is finished in a beautiful red and the interior is done in custom red/pearl which matches amazingly. Under the hood you will find a revuilt 283 CID V8 engine. The power is delivered to the wheels via a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The distributor, coil, cap and rotor have recently been changed. 1966 represented the second model year for the fourth generation Impala. Redesigned in 1965, the Impala set an all-time industry annual sales record of more than 1 million units in the United States. All new full-size Chevrolets eschewed the "X" frame for a full-width perimeter frame, a new body that featured curved, frameless side glass (for pillarless models), sharper angled windshield with newly reshaped vent windows, and redesigned full-coil suspension. The Impala would be the #2-selling convertible in the US in 1966, with 38,000 sold; it was beaten only by the Mustang. It was the final generation of Impala before they started being robbed of power from the new emissions control systems brought in in the early 70’s. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1966 Chevrolet Corvette

1966 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: LS3 6.2L V8
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 1,390 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this stunning 1966 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. Between the modern powertrain and the classic styling, this car is definitely a show stopper. Under the "Stinger" hood of this beast is a Chevrolet LS3 that would have been found in a more modern C5 Vette. Upon starting the engine, everyone around can hear the deep, burbly sounds of the side pipes. This swap not only provides much more power and drivability to the car, but it also makes servicing much easier considering that all of the parts needed for the engine are still mass produced by companies for GM. As for the engine itself, it runs very strong and brings as much power to the car as a big block would have back in the day (hence the big block hood). Sending that modern power to the rear end is a five speed manual transmission that shifts firmly through the gears with an extremely short shifter throw. This car having a modern powertrain, of course it has disc brakes all around that provide a good initial bite along with firm stopping power thanks to a wilwood master cylinder. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in a traditional light blue metalic that looks very nice and correct for the era of car. Finishing the stinger hood is a white stripe. Overall the paint is in very good condition and shows well. Supporting each corner of this beauty are chrome alloy wheels wrapped in low profile performance tires with good life left in them likely sourced from a C5. The white soft top is also in very good condition and moves freely as it should. Upon entering the cabin, the driver will be greeted by a light blue interior to match the exterior. Overall, the interior is in very good condition and accents the excellent work performed on the powertrain and suspension. The vinyl seats provide plenty of comfort while still maintaining decent support for cornering. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the convertible soft top that lets in plenty of sunshine and fresh air. 1966 Chevrolet Corvair

1966 Chevrolet Corvair

Engine: 6 Cylinder
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 66,692 ( undocumented )

Now available in our Philadelphia showroom is this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair-Monza. The 1966 lineup remained essentially unchanged from 1965. One change of note was a new four-speed synchromesh transmission using the standard Saginaw gear set with 3.11:1 first gear ratio used by other GM 6-cylinder vehicles. The steering column was changed to a two-piece design with universal joint, lessening the danger of intrusion during a front-end collision (a mid-1965 running change). A plastic air dam was installed below the front valence panel to conceal the front suspension and underbody and lessen crosswind sensitivity. In front, the "lock door" emblem (covering the lockset for the trunk lock) was changed from red to blue and featured a shorter bar. Air-conditioned cars received a new condenser that was mounted in front of the engine, eliminating previous efficient but huge, awkward condenser that was mounted atop the engine, requiring its removal out of the way for most under the hood servicing. This 1966 Corvair- Convertible was sent to the President of the Delaware-Corvair Club, who took the time to go over the entire vehicle, spending over 85 plus labor hours on this vehicle. The following work was completed during this time: Converted to Dual master cylinder, New front brake lines, New brake cylinder and hoses (both front and back), Pitman arms- bushings- & idler arm, Carburetor rebuilt, Replaced Alternator, New engine wiring harness, New tailpipes, New fan belt, New turn signal lever, New rear motor mount, New carpet in the trunk, New Antenna, New windshield wipers, New convertible “top boot” foam pads, New oil-pan and gaskets, New throttle valve/O-ring, New rear brake cable, New axle seals, New battery, New door seals plates, This Corvair has also been converted to an electric fuel-pump & Crane electric ignition. – As you can tell, a lot of love has been invested into this vehicle. The heart of this vehicle is a 6-cyclinder, which produces a 110 HP to the wheels and is connected to a 2-speed transmission. The powertrain has been converted to a 1965 powertrain. The solid white vinyl interior is in pretty good shape throughout, with only minor blemishes on the back-driver’s side. The convertible top is in good condition too, so you’ll look very sharp, top up or down. All this sits on a sweet set of wired wheels & white wall tires, with a Chevy emblem on the “knock-off” portion. This Corvair is going to be cruising around some town and enjoyed by a new owner very soon…. Will this be you? 1966 Chevrolet Caprice

1966 Chevrolet Caprice

Engine: 396 V8 Big Block
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

We at Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa are excited to present to you this 1966 Chevrolet Caprice. This car is very clean and spent part of its life in California and even includes a black California license plate. The red paint job from 1995 shines bright here in the sunshine state. The black top is also in great condition. To tie together the whole exterior package the chrome wheels shine very brightly. The Caprice gained series status for the 1966 model year and was positioned as the top-line full-size Chevrolet. It included a four-door hardtop, six- or nine-passenger station wagon, and a two-door hardtop with a squared-off formal roofline in contrast to the Impala/SS coupe's fastback roof styling. The 1966 Caprice featured a revised grille and front bumper, and new rectangular taillights which replaced the Chevrolet-traditional triple round taillights used on Impalas since 1958. Lenses and silver trim on Caprices differed slightly from the other full-sized models. Sedans and coupe models included luxurious cloth and vinyl bench seats with a folding center armrest in the rear seat. This Chevy Caprice has the heartbeat of an orange 396 cubic inch big block engine mated to a Th-400 transmission. The transmission turns a 12 bolt rear end. This engine fires right up like a dream and purrs when this Caprice drives down the road. This Caprice has 133K miles on it. The black interior has a great feel to it and you will take step back in time every time you get behind the wheel of this beast. Options include seat belts, radial tires, cloth and vinyl interior and power steering. Don’t miss your change to own this piece of automotive art today. 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne

1966 Chevrolet Biscayne

Engine: 427 V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 71,709 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this professionally built 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne L72 tribute car. This Chevrolet Biscayne L72 tribute has 71,710 miles on the odometer and is powered by a 427 cubic inch/425 horsepower engine driving through an M21 4- speed transmission and a 12 bolt 3.73 Positraction rear end. Complete with Redline tires, this 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne presented in blue with white top and blue interior is a terrific representation of a classic sleeper of the early muscle car era. By 1966, GM's intermediates, with near 400-cu in engines crammed between their fender wells, were rising in popularity faster than the hemlines of the day. The muscle car era had arrived. Race tracks across the country were serving as the proving grounds for myriad new high-performance powertrain combos from the Big Three. Though muscle cars were gaining momentum, full-size cars were far from washed up as racers. GTOs, Chevelle SSs, 4-4-2s and Gran Sports got bigger engines, but the full-size cars still got the biggest ones. Some denizens of the drag strip couldn't resist the lure of stuffing the largest displacement engine possible in the lightest body in which they could order it. So when Chevrolet pulled the wraps off of its new 427-cu in variation of the Mark IV "big-block" engine family, introduced just the year prior, Chevrolet racers certainly would have wanted to get their hands on one, particularly when it was announced that there would be a high-performance 425hp version, coded L72. Yet, the only way to get the solid-lifter L72 was to buy a Corvette or to select something from the full-size line. But while Chevrolet had made the high-performance 427 available across the full-size car line, the division didn't actually assemble a drag-strip-dedicated packaging of those elements the way some other manufacturers were doing at the time. So, it was up to racers to figure out that the hot setup was the base-model Biscayne two-door pillared sedan with the L72 engine checked off. A handful of savvy faithful did just that and were rewarded with a potent engine package wrapped in a large car that was both lighter and more rigid than an Impala hardtop. The 427 instantly transformed Chevy's low-cost sedate sedan into a competitive drag racer. Though model-specific figures have not been found, a total of 1,856 L72 427s were installed across the big-car line in '66. Newest Chevrolet Arrivals

1963 Chevrolet Nova

1963 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8 LS1
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,846 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in the Nashville Showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Nova or Chevy II or little deuce coupe depending on where you grew up. This ’63 Chevy II for sale has the best of the old and the new working together to make something very special. A quick look and you would be certain that this is one clean, well painted sharp looking little deuce coupe but you would be somewhat wrong. The longer you look the more you will notice the latest technology. The big give away is the Dakota® digital dash and the 6-speed knob parked on top of the manual shift lever. Now once the hood is open all bets are off as the LS1 gleams and looks nothing like the little Chevy small block that would have been perched here. With less than 3,000 miles since Grimes twister engines performed their surgery on this LS1 giving it the rumble and stumble that makes me want to make it my ring tone. This LS is cranking out 451 Horses at the fly wheel, slightly more than the factory put under the hood in 1963 and by slightly, I mean about twice. Backing the LS1 is the Tremec® 6 speed manual transmission giving you total control of the RPM’s so you can explain to the Civic driver just what muscle is and then cruise down the highway at 70MPh getting about 25MPG’s. Connecting the transmission to the rear axle is an aluminum drive shaft and connecting the Ford 9 inch rear axle is a TCI 4 link suspension system. TCI also got the nod for the front suspension. Once again, the best of old and new such as the all new aluminum fuel tank. There is so much more to tell you about this incredible 1963 Chevy II for sale so give us a call. Options for this 1963 Chevrolet Deuce for sale include AM/FM CD player, Power steering and Brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Anti-theft system, Racing wheels, Posi traction, and aluminum alloy wheels. 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

Engine: 5.7 Liter V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 179 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia presents this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z. The IROC Z model of the Chevrolet Camaro first made its public appearance in 1985 as an add on option to the 1985 Camaro Z28 model. But its origin began long before that. IROC stands for International Race of Champions which is an automobile racing series like what NASCAR is. Started in 1974 with race prepared Porsches the series switched to Camaros in 1975. The Camaro continued as the car of choice for the IROC series until 1991. In 1985 Chevrolet licensed the IROC nameplate to use on production Camaros. The result was one of the most popular Camaros that Chevrolet had made in years. This Camaro is Red on the outside and is complemented by a black leather interior. The exterior is as it was on day one except for a set of chrome wheels that simulate the factory alloys. The 5.7 ltr V8 with tuned port injection performs very well and looks great under the hood. Equipped with Air Conditioning, AM FM stereo with CD, power brakes and steering, and power windows and locks this Camaro is a pleasure to drive. The IROC Z was at the time of its release the ultimate Camaro. They were then and still are very popular with Camaro enthusiasts. To view this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
