The LS1 V8 engine was donated from a 2002 Trans Am, and has roughly 27,000 miles on it. Inside the engine bay you will find polished pulleys, a few chrome accents, and a set of gorgeous headers. A 4L60E automatic transmission transfers the power from the LS1 to an Auburn rear end that houses 3.73 Posi-Trac gears. Power disc brakes with slotted rotors adorn all four corners, and Hotchkis suspension goodies are present in the front and rear, all come together to help this 79' Z28 perform like a late model muscle car. The Nassau Blue exterior paint was an excellent color choice, and it looks absolutely stunning next to the Z28 graphics and black T-Tops. ZR1 Corvette styled aluminum/alloy wheels are wrapped in radial tires, and provide an excellent look to the build. The dark gray cloth interior looks like new, with very little signs of usage. The gauge cluster is custom and features race inspired, white faced gauges. This 79' Camaro has been setup for a Pro Touring trip, and will not disappoint. All the modern amenities of a late model car with the beautiful classic look of a late 70's ride. She is ready to have the T-Tops pulled off and head down the road for a long ride with the wind in your hair. Let it ride!!!
