1977 Pontiac Firebird

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this way cool 1977 Pontiac Firebird. Between the rebuilt powertrain and the classy color combo, this is a sweet ride!

Powering this cool old ride is a 305 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 1350 miles ago. A newer radiator and thermostat replaced in 2010 keep the engine running cool. Sending that V8 torque to the rear wheels is a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that was also rebuilt. Thanks to stainless steel headers and Flowmaster mufflers, this car sounds just as good as it looks. This rebuilt powertrain allows for more reliability, smoother driving, and most importantly, restored power to the engine! The car has also been very well maintained with records that indicate oil changes have been done no more than 1,500 miles apart since the engine was rebuilt!

The car also features new rear leaf springs and U-joints, body bushings, and a new pinion gear. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in Brentwood brown. The paint is believed to have been redone in the early 1990s and is in good condition. Supporting each corner of this classic ride are rally wheels that are wrapped in BFG radial tires that are in good condition with plenty of tread life left in them. Sitting behind the front wheels are disc brakes that allow for good stopping power.

Moving inward, the interior of this sweet ride features buckskin colored vinyl seats that are in good condition. Those comfortable seats sit atop matching carpet that is also in good condition. Keeping the driver comfortable year-round are functional AC/heat. The air conditioning system was also replaced in 2011 to ensure proper function. Keeping the driving experience of this beauty pleasurable are power brakes and steering. Overall this car is a good driver quality and runs nicely. Between all the newer equipment and rebuilt powertrain, this beauty is ready to hit the road!
