Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is offering for consideration a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle in Metallic Red with matching black and red vinyl interior.
The 1973 model Beetle came with a new 1600cc twin port cylinder head with a larger oil cooler and produced 60 hp. For 73 a new larger “elephant foot” taillight and reshaped rear fender were added with an alternator replacing the generator. Up front a larger wrap around windscreen was incorporated for improved forward vision. Inside the a raised speedo pod and rocker style switches along with side window defrosters became standard equipment.
There will only be one VW Beetle and this is a fun little car that’s easy on the fuel consumption.
