The Karmann Ghia combined the chassis and and drive train of the Volkswagen Beetle with the Italian styling of Carrozzeria Ghia and hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann. This particular 1969 Karmann Ghia for sale is a very drive able survivor and runs well. The original build and body work has withstood the test of time with flying colors. The low mileage (undocumented) engine in this VW is an original air cooled 4 cylinder 1500cc engine and run as you would expect a piece of German engineering would! This engine is paired with a manual 4-speed transmission that shifts very smoothly through the gears. The exterior of the car retains the factory paint, that shows that well for its age and the body is relatively dent free.
