1970 Porsche 911 For Sale - ORD1360

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this awesome 1970 Porsche 911 E. This rare 911 E was purchased by its current owner 15 years ago, at that time the seller, believed he was the third owner. The previous owner had the car for about ten years and drove it every weekend. The car was repainted in 2005 Porsche "Arctic Silver" (paint code L92T) in the summer of 2005. The original color of the car was blue. The entire interior was reupholstered in Black "German vinyl" matching covers and the seat springs/ padding was replaced. The AM/FM radio was upgraded with a new "old school style" radio, which has a plug for iPod (in the glove box) and looks perfect in the dash. The exhaust system was replaced, and the brakes upgraded, and the dual quad Weber carbs were rebuilt. Several rubber lines were replaced with steel. The car is very stock overall. The car has been to several local Porsche Club of America (PCA) events and won a couple of awards for various "best of" categories. The current owner also took the car to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) for a PCA Drivers Education weekend. The car drove beautifully on this amazing road course and dozens of fellow PCA members asked if they could drive it which he declined. This is driving the way it was intended---- no power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning, the roar of the engine! The car has been serviced by a local mechanic specializing in German cars for the past four years. All fluids changed this past summer and tune-up. Recently replaced the tires (Yokohama 185/65R-15 high performance, V-speed rated) and fresh spare tire as well. Original Porsche jack and some tools with a car, new dual batteries and much more. The car runs like a top! Very good condition. Beautifully cared for in the climate-controlled garage. This beautiful 62k original mile 911 E is powered by the 2.2 Liter Flat 6 Cylinder engine mated to at 5-speed transmission.
