This truck has quite the story (and financial investment) behind it. After being bought in a mostly original state in 2009 this off-roader was completely overhauled and features a 5.3l Vortec V8 engine plucked from a 2005 Chevy Silverado tied to a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck was repainted in an unmistakable bright orange color and features beige leather interior with period-correct gauges lining the dashboard, a Line-X coated floor and a Sony CD/MP3 player. Some of the other highlights on this build (which was professionally done) include an Eaton Detroit rear locking differential, a 4" lift kit, Mickey Thompson chrome wheels with 33" radial tires, an 8500lb power winch mounted on a stainless front bumper, a sport cage with padding kit and a locking aluminum storage box with jerry cans for water and gasoline.
