The Polara was introduced in 1960 as Dodge's top-of-the-line, full-size vehicle and turned out to be a successful seller thanks to its sleek styling and chrome-dressed curb appeal. Arguably, it was the right car at the right time. This example looks ready to roll in all Black with a snout-like hood scoop for improved air flow in the engine compartment. This Dodge for sale features what's known as a “Max Wedge" engine. In short, this vehicle has a 440 CID V8 with a raised block and cross ram dual quad carburetors. This motor also features Hedman exhaust headers feeding dual exiting pipes and an aluminum radiator for increased cooling capacity.
