Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. This car was built in 2003 but is titled as a 1940 Ford and has been with the same owner for the last 20 plus years. Powered by a 1995 Ford 302 V8 crate engine that is mated to a C4 automatic transmission and pushed to the rear wheels by a Ford 9" rear with 3.10 gearing. This Ford was built professionally and drives like a dream with only about 11,000 miles driven since being completed. When approaching the car, you instantly notice the sharp Inferno Red PPG paint with gray painted on pin striping and 17-inch polished Intro wheels. The paint is off set nicely with all of the chrome features that have been restored properly. This includes the headlight trim, bumpers, exhaust tips, and taillight trim. When hopping into the driver's seat with electronic door poppers on the key fob, you instantly notice the clean and well-built interior. The seating is redone in gray leather interior with sport bucket front and pull down smaller rear seats. The styling and innovation of the interior are what sets this car apart from others, it has an electronic switch to control the outside vent, split front windshield, and even custom digital gauges.
