The only engine option was the Ford Triton 5.4L V-8 EFI-SOHC (Awarded Ward's Auto World " Ten Best Engines for 5 consecutive years") which produces 260hp @ 4500 RPM and 350 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 RPM mated to an automatic transmission w/ OD. This BOSS has been taken a step further with a Supercharger, Borla exhaust system, and K&N air intake that makes it a thrill to drive and stand out against the others on the market. In the two-year run for this model 2002-03 only 500 examples were produced, and this particular BOSS is number 87 which is stated on a plaque on the driver's side door jamb (Boss Owner's Club Production Serial NO. 0087).
