In 1999 GM showed off the striking Cadillac Evoq concept car with the intention of drumming up interest in the Cadillac brand and prestige. The car was received very favorably, and Cadillac moved forward with a production model that was extremely faithful to the concept car! The production model was built off the C5 Corvette chassis with the expected additions expected of a Cadillac such as the 320hp 4.6 32 valve NorthStar V8, a 5-speed automatic, and a hard top convertible. Additionally, Standard equipment with the Cadillac XLR included keyless entry, a tilt and telescoping steering column, a heated steering wheel, steering wheel mounted controls, power accessories including a power trunk lid, eight-way power seats, and dual climate control. Leather trim was used throughout the cabin on seating surfaces, across the dashboard, on the doors, and around the steering wheel. Alloy and wood trim accents were standard.
This 2005 Cadillac XLR was sprayed from the factory in an uncommon Cadillac Blue Steel and has a clean car fax with all accessories reported to be in working order. It drives like butter and has ice cold AC. Come snap up this XLR before it's too late!
