Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Florida is proud to present this 1949 Willys Jeepster Convertible. This Willys Jeepster was treated to a street rod conversion in 1990. It now sports a 307 CID V8 engine out of a '68 Chevelle, putting power through a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and spinning Ford 9" rear end from a 75 Ford Maverick. Since the rebirth in 1990, the seller claims that the Willys has only been driven about 45k miles. This '46 Willys is sure to turns some heads, sprayed in bright red with a functioning white manual convertible top, factory style side curtains, chrome accents, chrome dual exhaust, chrome bumpers, and alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. The interior flows well with the exterior and sports red vinyl with white piping seats, AM/FM radio, seat belts, gray carpeting, and a Lokar shifter. The car was brought to Florida from Oklahoma about 14 years ago and it has been enjoyed by the same owner since.
