Walking around this ’47 one should notice the gloss black paint, the 15” American Classic white wall radial tires with painted steel wheels with chrome baby moon hubcaps, chrome grille, chrome bumpers, fender shirts, and even the yellow fog lights. The exterior being dressed in chrome to offset the black paint gives this Mercury a luxury appeal. The interior flows well with the paint sporting two toned red/gray cloth seats. Adding to the look, the door panels match the seats, the carpeting is red, and the dash is black and chrome to match the exterior. Powering the Mercury is claimed to be a Ford Flathead V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The engine bay has some upgrades to notice that include an aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan, 12 volt electrical system, an aluminum intake, Holley Carburetor, and painted red valve covers.
