In 2007, Road & Track called the SS Trailblazers, 'Chariots of Fire,' and for good reason. The LS2 6. 0l 395hp mill was plucked right out of the Corvette and jammed under the hood. Round of applause to whoever's idea that was at GM. But why did Chevrolet throw the legendary SS on this edition of the Trailblazer anyway? Well consider this. The quarter mile times for the SS Trailblazer were within a fender of a big block, 4-speed, 69SS Chevelle and faster than an SS 350 Camaro.
