This big boy is mostly original, except for the addition of air conditioning to improve its year 'round usability. These 1950's trucks, when left mostly original, are really coming into their own in the market, and they don't stay here for long! With those wide curves around the front and rear fenders, these oldies have much more personality and uniqueness compared to trucks today. Under the hood is a 216 CID Inline 6, which is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Inside, you will notice it has been kept as original as possible (except for the dash vents for the A/C, of course). The bench seat has been covered with a dark red vinyl, and the headliner and door panels have been replaced over time, not just to help keeping this piece of history rolling but making it enjoyable to drive as well. This one is a 3/4 ton , 7 window, series 1 with the stake bed. its believed to be Era correct engine (1956 235 C. I. ) and 4 speed transmission (believed to be original) with Granny Gear. The Brakes are Hydrovac. The electrical has been converted to 12 Volt. The wiring has all been newly upgraded. The wood in the bed is Furniture grade Oak in great condition. The Tires are Michelin Radials and have less than 2000 miles on them, and the Spare is also new. The interior is super nice. The restoration: Glass ,rubber, exterior, interior was done a while ago and believed over $50K was spent (not sure how long ago) The current owner does not know how many previous owners, but it does have a clean Colorado Title.

This truck is claimed to be repainted by Sandy's in the 1980's, this Chevy's gloss red paint still shines and shows well. The bed is in great condition and flows well with the red paint due to the light wood choice and black accent trim. Powering this Pickup is an inline 6 cylinder that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The shifter for the transmission is mounted on the steering column known as '3 on the tree', which is period correct for this '50. The interior is in great condition and sports a black vinyl bench seat, carpeting, and even date correct looking gauges. The 50's pickups will forever be in style and this particular one is a blank canvas for someone who wants to take the restoration a step further or even to be turned into a hotrod. This truck is a complete nut and bolt, frame off restoration that was started in 2017 and finished in 2019 for the Idaho Rescue Mission- 'Project for Veterans'. The truck only has about 200 miles since being finished last year and it is show ready. Powering this beautiful pickup is a new 283 CID V8 engine that is mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The engine is dressed up with dual headers, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock intake, Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner, and the classic orange GM block. No expense was spared while rebuilding this truck, the frame and other parts were all powder coated by All American Powder Coating and stainless steel was also used. When walking around this '55 you instantly notice the sharp two toned Green and Z-tone White paint theme that is topped off with black pin striping.
