This beauty just recently went through a complete restoration within the past few years and turned out beautifully. It has been painted in Crocus Yellow with black around the wheels. The brand of paint used was Sikkens. It has a nice dark gray, red, and green pinstripe along the sides of the car that really dresses it up. This '36 has all those iconic curves that made people fall in love with these early model Chevrolets! The deep Black Cherry paint that covers its all-metal body is offset nicely by the 18-inch chromed aluminum Pasati wheels, which are wrapped with low profile performance radials. Look under the hood and you'll notice the 350 CID V8, which is topped by a big Holley 4BBL carb and aluminum intake, and augmented by HEI ignition, headers, and dual exhaust. This gorgeous all steel two door is super straight and solid from top to bottom. There has been extensive but subtle body modifications done to take this street rod to the next level. The door handle have been shaved and operate remotely. The front and rear bumpers have been shaved as well as having a hideaway license plate to help in accentuating the big flowing lines of the fenders. Powering this street rod is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet engine backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission. Holding this classic combo in place is a 1984 Chevrolet S10 chassis along with the master cylinder and complete brake system from the S10. Helping you to hug the road with precision and comfort is a rack and pinion setup.
