Very nice 46 Clipper. Customized with all the modern commodies. 1978 Olds Toronado front wheel drive with 350 Olds engine - engine and drive train have about 40K miles since rebuilt. Used all the Toronado suspension and steering. New 600 CFM Carter 'AFB' Carb with electric fan. 94' Corvette 4-core radiator w/ two electric fans. Battery is one yr old. Power brakes, Tilt column. Dual exhaust w/ 24' glass packs. Original Packard front and rear bumpers have been smoothed, replated, and moved closer to the body. Hood & deck lid shaved....

This Packard is powered by a 125 HP 8-cylinder engine and has a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. It has a Black exterior and a grey interior. In 1946 Packard introduced the Clipper design which among other things introduced fenders that appeared to be part of the car instead of being bolt on. This rare classic is painted is a very unique manner. The exterior is coated in silver and blue two-toned paint which was not an option. However, this paint scheme was used in the print ads for the car in 1946 but oddly was never painted that way, that is until now! Moving on to the interior you will notice great looking brown cloth interior which is indicative of that era. Under the hood you will find a 350 CID V8 engine backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Other options include: power brakes, power steering, cloth interior, and radial tires.
