This T-Bird underwent a frame off restoration in 2003 in the great state of California. The Thunderbird Blue exterior paint shines very well, as does all the chrome trim and bumpers. As estimated 12,000 miles have been enjoyed in the car since the restoration was complete. Powering this classic T-Bird is the original 292 CID V8 engine that was rebuilt in 2003 at the time of the restoration, and has approximately 12,000 miles on it since being rebuilt. A 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive transfers the power to the stock rear end. A hard top and soft top are included with the sale of this Thunderbird. The 1955 Crown Victoria or Vicky was direct competition to Chevy-s now Iconic Bel Air model. The Crown Victoria would have a very distinct chrome B pillar that ran from one side of the car to the other making it stand out in a crowded marketplace. This 55 Vicky has been brought back to life with full restoration performed a little over 6900 miles car. The red paint is classic Americana with the white accent color making the red look that much redder. All the chrome on the car was either buffed or replaced during the restoration giving it a luster that only these cars can produce. Those big white wall tires look great on the car being Under the hood is the original 272 engine which starts right up without any fuss. The Offenhauser valve covers are a nice touch and add a little extra flare to the engine bay. The 55 Crown Victoria was a direct shot at Chevy-s new line-up of vehicles. The body itself was very similar and with a few different engine options they were well received by the public. The color palette that Ford would bring out that year would really put an exclamation point on there new line. The most exotic and hate or love it had to be pink though. It was a definite in your face and most absolutely loved it and is still sought after today. This restored and gorgeous example is one of the nicest I have seen. Together for about 4 years now the car has had enough miles to work on bugs but was really used for just local car shows and events. During the restoration they decided to put a little more power to this 55 dropping in a 351W to give it plenty get up and go.
