The restoration of this 1958 MGA was in process for nearly seven years. The owner was an engineer who planned and executed the transformation. He completed it in 2016. The car has 2850 miles on it since the restoration was completed.

The car has a new Camaro 3. 4L (207 CID), 180 HP, V-6 GM engine. Mallory Ignition. Custom fabricated headers and exhaust. It has a five-speed Camaro T-5 transmission coupled with an MGC rear end. MGB Suspension with Front Disc Brakes. Chrome 15' 72 spoke Dayton Wheels With Michelin Radial Tires Holly Carburetor, dual exhaust and is equipped with a Vintage Air, Gen II A/C system.

The MGA was produced from 1955-1962. Built as either a coupe or roadster. The newly designed MGA was a marketing success for MG with over 101,000 units sold by the end of production in 1962. It was built on a body-on-frame design with a four-cylinder 1,588cc engine attached to a four-speed gear box. Independent suspension with coil springs, rack and pinon steering and front disk brakes make the MGA an exciting if not rewarding car to drive....

When the MGA roadster came out they replaced the aging T-Series cars and for a good reason! This stunning Machines are powered by High-Performance Twin Cam Inline 4 engine that pushed out a bolstering 1,588cc that's 108 HP! Produced from 1955 to 1962, the design for the MGA originated in the early fifties, being styled after a modified TD Midget used in the 24-hour endurance race of Le Mans.
