This Mustang was completely restored from the frame up in 2009, boasting a new floor pan, new fuel pump, gas tank, heater core and blower motor. The entire suspension has been replaced along with the braking system and brake cylinder. This Mustang has also had brand new wiring installed along with a modern fuse panel. This drop top cruiser was not built to satisfy the originality die hards, this car was built for smiles per gallon. Both the 400 cubic inch V8 and the 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission were rebuilt roughly 16,000 miles ago and all sounds healthy. There is great performing Edelbrock aluminum heads on top of the block, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan keeps things cool. This right hand drive Mini is an absolute riot to speed around town thanks to a rev-happy 1275cc inline 4-cylinder. Though it doesn't make a lot of horsepower, the low weight of around 1300lbs means it still has plenty of pep. the 4-speed manual transmission gives positive feedback as you cycle through the gears, and the engine loves to scream all the way to redline. the Austin started life as a left hand drive import model and spent its earlier life in California.
