The Mustang has been a phenomenon since its introduction in 1964. Considered Fords longest running production car as the nameplate is still used today. With over one million units sold in the first two years the Mustang is truly an American success story. The car was delivered new in Vintage Burgundy with the Black Crinkle Vinyl luxury interior option. The '65 GT had several noticeable features making it easily recognizable like the GT gas cap, trumpet exhaust, special GT stripes and Mustang lettering, GT badge, disc brakes, and GT fog light bar. Interior equipment includes a custom center console, an air conditioning system, lap belts, and manual-crank windows, JVC high-power radio, and Mustang rubber floor mats to protect the carpet.
