The C/K series was GM's full size pick up line for 4 decades. The C/K was a simple designation of whether it is a two or four wheel drive model respectively. 1967 marked the beginning of the second generation that not only had a more modern look but also had a new nickname, 'Action Line'. This 1972 Big Block is practically like a brand new truck with the doghouse including the inner fender wells being recently replaced. With the truck pulled apart the decision was made to go with a freshly built BBC 454. A turbo 400 transmission backs this smooth running big block engine. It was then decided to go with a new bed which was pulled from a 95. The gas tank was relocated as well to under the bed making it of course a lot safer. This also gave the ability to update the taillights with a set of clear LED's finishing off the modern look. With the body and drive train taken care of the next thing to be addressed was the stance.
