The Karman ghia was a 2+2 promoted as a sports car with a coupe and convertible model manufactured until 1974. Based on the classic Type 1 beetle chassis with styling by Italian designer Luigi Segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia and hand built bodies by coachbuilder Karmann. It would go on to be a world-wide success with close to half a million cars built over its life spanning over 3 decades. This Karman Ghia has gone through a complete customization from the paint to the interior giving this rear engine drop top a one-off look. The green paint is slick and guaranteed to stand out in a crowd. The tan top goes extremely well with the overall scheme giving a great contrast to the paint. Under the hood is a 1776 CC engine that puts out a good bit of power over the stock motor. The 4-speed transmission shifts out nicely with the custom handle adding a nice touch to the interior.
