This particular model was custom ordered and only owned by the same person since its birth. Back in 1976 this Corvette was specifically ordered in White Exterior, with a White Leather interior package, making this car truly a rare find. Built with the L48 small block Chevy 350ci V8 engine, this Stingray is pumping out a fair 165 Factory horsepower. Backed with a Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic transmission to make any driving experience with this car, a desirable one. This car has never been driven in the rain, as the gorgeous paint job will show, so the T-Tops were never even used during driving. This car was built with show car appeal in mind, from the Luscious Pearl White paint, to the Original style Turbine Wheels. This '76 Corvette is nicely optioned with the L-82 350 CID V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission and is an absolute blast to drive. The L-82 V8 was rated at 210 horsepower which was 30 horsepower more than the base L-48 V8. This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by its numbers matching L-82 350 CID V8 engine and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with 60,185 actual miles! In 1976, Chevrolet made a few changes to the Corvette from the previous model year to help reduce cabin noise. The first was an air induction modification to the hood that pulled air in above the radiator and into the air cleaner duct reducing wind turbulence noise previously caused by the 'Cowl Induction' hood system. The second was a partial steel underbody that replaced fiberglass to improve the rigidity and also to help shield the cabin from engine and exhaust heat and road noise....

This 4x4 is powered by a 400 cubic inch small block and is mated to an automatic transmission. This well optioned 4x4 is equipped with power brakes, power steering, A/C, cruise control, an AM/FM radio and seat belts. Recently repainted in a light blue metallic with a matching blue cloth/vinyl bench seat. Under the hood is a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet. The engine features a set of headers and a 4 barrel carburetor. The rest of the engine bay looks factory original with factory A/C, power brakes with a new master cylinder and lines, power steering and factory cruise control. Inside the cab is very neat, tidy and original. The bench seat is in great condition, there's new weather stripping for the doors, the wood grain dash is still in good condition with only minor wear, there's also a factory gauge cluster...

What makes this Corvette very unique is the fact that is now a fastback with an opening hatch. Other body modifications include wider wheel well openings and race inspired black smoke headlight covers. This Corvette is powered by 383 Cubic Inch Stroker small block that breathes its power through a set of beautiful Stingray side pipes.
