Along with wins at the Pocono 500 and California 500 later in the season, Al Unser Sr. swept the triple crown of Indy Car racing and as of now is the only driver in history to do so. This pace car edition Corvette is also a 25th Anniversary model marking the quarter century milestone for running production. This numbers matching Corvette is powered by the legendary 350 Cubic Inch V8 engine which has less than 4,000 miles since being pulled out and refreshed. While the engine was apart, a more aggressive camshaft was installed to help this Corvette sound and perform more like the racecars that it was built to pace.
