Jeep had produced the Wrangler starting in 1986 as essentially a redesign to its predecessors; the CJ-5 and the CJ-7 which had become notorious for tipping over due to the combination of being top heavy and having a short wheelbase. The Wrangler came with a redesign that came with a wider track width, an improved interior that featured airbags in order to implement the idea of having a safer vehicle for the average consumer to drive. While this Jeep shows as a good example of how far they had come since the days of the CJs, this one wasn't done undergoing upgrades yet. Let-s start off stating that this Wrangler YJ comes with a Durable 4. 2 Liter 6 Cylinder that is mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission and this is how it should be.
