The Plymouth Prowler of the late 90s was no more with the extinction of Plymouth and in 2000 the Chrysler Prowler was introduced. The Prowler for sale is retro hot rod styled car manufactured and marketed in 1997 and 1999-2002 by Daimler Chrysler, based on the 1993 concept car of the same name. The Prowler for sale is one of 11,700 created in and with 18,000 miles, its basically a brand new car. The design of the Prowler for sale was inspired after Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a 'hot rod' or 'sportster' type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler's are the open, Indy racer style front wheels. The Prowler features a amazing powertrain including a 3. 5L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine 24v aluminum block that was rated at a scorching 253 hp. These hellion engines were coupled to a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission is located at the rear of the vehicle and is joined to the engine by a flexible driveshaft.
