1954 GMC 250

View Description

This Panel has endured a full nut and bolt restoration that nearly make the vehicle a time Machine. In 1954 the truck was purchased by the Ziddel family in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Panel was used for deliveries of the family store. As many years passed, the truck was replaced and parked in a barn where it sat for approximately 40 years. In 2006, there was an estate auction where it was purchased. In 2011, the long awaited truck then got a second chance. The owners noticed that the VIN ended in 1007, decoding the fact that this Panel was the seventh off the assembly line! It now carries the nickname, 'lucky seven'. Powering the Panel is the believed to be, original 248 Inline 6 cylinder engine. These engines were vastly advertised as the new thing in performance and reliability. To quote the 1954 ad, '125 horsepower with 7. 5 to 1 extra-high compression using...

1949 GMC 250

View Description

GMC referred to this 5 window set up as the 'Nue Vue' 5 window. The curved rear glass allowed for much better reward visibility which was great for a Longbed typically used for loading/unloading. This particular 1 ton Model 250 sports a pickup Longbed with removable wooden bed sides for tall loads. The truck was professionally restored in 2008. The truck was always extremely solid and retains its original sheet metal. The original engine was rebuilt and has hardly been driven since. Some nice upgrades were made at the time of restoration such as converting it to a 12 volt system and replacing the original glass with safety glass. The body was smoothed and finished in its original Pimpernal Scarlet color. The bed has all new oak slats and stainless strips. Nothing beats the look of a wood pickup bed. The truck is in wonderful shape from stem to stern. The engine bay is clean and tidy just as it would've came in '49, the interior is gorgeous and even features a working retro radio. This...

1949 GMC 250

View Description

This beautiful Red example of a classic American work horse comes with a 228ci inline six with a 4-speed transmission. The motor and transmission have a fresh rebuild just 2218 miles ago. Inside the vehicle you will find a grey bench style vinyl seat and an original dash. Trucks of this era were rather simple Machines, and that is part of their appeal. They were made to be rugged and reliable. It's neat to think of all the jobs this truck might have been a part of throughout the years.

Whether you plan on using the vehicle to go to local car shows or haul a load of dirt, this truck can handle it all. Its wood plank bed features a functioning hydraulic lift to easily dump whatever you plan to load in the back.
