If you've been looking for one of these babies - this one may just have that extra special history to increase her desire to be cared for! This CJ 5 was purchased from the estate of Roy Clark - who many remember from the 70's show HeeHaw! The consignor states Roy was the only owner of this Jeep, believes her to be matching numbers, and kept her indoors for the majority of her life. I'm not sure you could find another this well preserved! The majority of Jeeps back in the day - suffered as many other brands of 4 X 4's - from rust! This fine example is nearly rust free - and we had to search to find the minor bit we found - and most would miss it - if not pointed out. These early CJs are responsible for the Jeep phenomenon that is still going today. It has the 258 CI straight 6 and a 3-speed manual transmission.
