1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

This '57 Bel Air has been in the same family since new and has only been maintained vs. restored. You can still see the factory markings on the firewall! The car is very original and in very good condition. The car has a true 55,724 original miles! The was originally ordered by a school teacher and lightly driven over the years. The Tri-tone interior was elected over a radio. Painted in a beautiful color called Sierra Gold over a Gold/Black and White Tri-Colored interior with a bench seat and a column shift manual 3-speed transmission. Such a classic look with the wide white wall tires and factory hubcaps. Power comes from a silky smooth 235 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder. Such a great engine and the base V8 only...

1950 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

The same year this little red Bel-Air rolled off the assembly line, President Truman approved U. S. construction of the hydrogen bomb. The Chevrolet Bel Air is a full-size car produced by Chevrolet for the 1950-'1981 model years. Initially only the two door hardtops in the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952, as distinct from the Styleline and Fleetline models for the remainder of the range. With the 1953 model year the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across many body styles. The Bel Air continued with various other trim level designations until US production ceased in 1975. Production continued in Canada, for its home market only, through the 1981 model year. For 1950, Chevrolet came up with a revolutionary style that would set a pattern for decades. The Bel Air Hardtop was styled as a convertible with a non-detachable solid roof. Models like this had been around since the 1920s, including early Chevrolets, with no degree of success. But the newly revised idea, sweeping the GM line from Chevrolet to Cadillac, had finally found its era. First year...

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Many of the tri-fives floating around the market today are far from their original family car form. No matter what these cars represent a time like no other in America. This 55 Chevy is sporting what is believed to be its original drivetrain. this smooth-running 6 cylinder sounds healthy. The three-on-the-tree transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and the interior while used is in great shape for a mostly original car. The car world seems to be taking more interest in cars that aren't trailer queens or show winners. Cars like this 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air that can be driven guilt-free are ideal. You can have a car full of people and fun in this ride and turn...

1963 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Words like 'cream puff' and 'survivor' are often thrown about with abandon in the vintage car world. But this - Old Lady Owned - 63 Bel Air sedan exemplifies the description of a cream puff, survivor! The current owner of this clean, time capsule is the second owner of the car. He purchased it after the original owner passed on and the family decided to let the old girl go. The car has only traveled a claimed 55,800 plus miles and was blessed with one respray in the original Ermine white. The interior is just as it was from the factory as well. Resplendent in blue vinyl with cloth patterned inserts, the mid-level upgrade from Biscayne to Bel Air is readily apparent. Powering this car is the venerable 230ci (3. 8L) 140 Hp, inline six. This engine sends power through a 'three on the tree' manual and propels the car with adequate and smooth, budget minded power. This car is claimed all original with only basic maintenance items being replaced over the years. Such as ball joints, suspension bushings, and chassis bushings. In short, this 'Old Lady, creampuff' runs and drives like its 1963! The experience behind the wheel is a...
