The Bricklin was assembled in New Brunswick Canada for a year in a half in 1974 and 1975. The Car was designed for the American market that was hungry for new ideas and styling in the middle seventies by Herb Grasse. Malcolm Bricklin the American Millionaire who founded Subaru of America was the driving force and of course the namesake. The futuristic styling and forward thinking of this car caught on however the company just could not make cars fast enough to be successful. So during the entire year and a half they built less than 3,000 cars total.
