The Buick Riviera was a bold venture for the Buick brand. With its -Coke Bottle- styling, the Riviera sent a shockwave through traditional GM styling. This particular example drapes this radical styling in a custom orange pearl paint that really makes the shape pop. Originally a base Skylark with a smaller displacement engine and column shifted automatic, this vehicle was nothing more than a casual cruiser. The builder of the vehicle wasn-t satisfied having it -average- and wanted to take the vehicle to the next level. The original power plant was removed and a 454 big block Chevrolet engine was put in its place. The 454 makes plenty of power and bellows a throaty rumble when you step on the go-pedal.
