This eye-catching truck is sporting a healthy 350 V8 that has been freshened recently. The engine was purchase with a low, but not exact, amount of miles on the rebuild. Prior to installing the 350 V8 a new cam and lifters were installed as well. The inside of the engine was free of sludge and looked very nice. The project has been ongoing over roughly a 4-year period. Initially a lot of metal work was done including rocker panels, door bottoms, and cab corners. The paint is hugger orange and while far from pristine is certainly adequate for a driver's quality truck. Additional maintenance items include a new starter, new alternator, and a new ignition switch....

The C/K Series was a great success for Chevrolet. They would see many changes over 4 generations spanning 40 years. The 3rd generation was the longest generation at 18 years and part of their new 'rounded line. ' The Cheyenne package was distinguishable by the aluminum trim, silver instrument cluster, chrome bumpers and nicer seats. Here we have a '79 Model. You can't help but check this truck out. The Lilac Paint looks good, draws you in and really shows off the bold lines of this C10. Under the hood is a 350ci V8 with power running down to the wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. Having dual gas tanks is a nice feature so you can waive at the gas station when you go by. The current owner has had it for 11 years, before that was her dad's and is who built it. 1981 Chevrolet C-10. This mean truck is painted in cobalt blue and purple candy for a great deep look. Hiding in the paint are three ghost stripes and Japanese symbols on the tail gate. Under the hood sits a 400 CID V-8 engine with a few power adders such as headers, Edelbrock intake and a four barrel carb. It has been dressed up with Edelbrock air cleaner, Edelbrock valve covers, chrome thermostat housing and stainless steel hose covers. The engine compartment has been painted black then splatter painted with blue and white for a unique look.
