1957 was a great year for Cadillac, still reveling in its success from the previous 3 years the 57 looked basically the same. The big news was the revolutionary tubular 'X' frame. It was still considered a full frame but without side rails the body was able to sit an astonishing 3 inches lower while retaining all the interior space. The other big change would have to be the larger and more powerful 300 HP 365 CID V8. It not only sounded great but actually gave these big lead boats decent performance. This 57 is a clean example with a neat story to go along with it. Owned by country singing sensation Kitty Wells but even more interesting than that it was used in the classic the Coal Miners Daughter and has some screen time of its own.
