This is the pure essence of an entry level Hotrod. This -32 Ford Roaster is very simple, yet very reliable and a blast to drive. The body actually sits on a 1957 frame with the front suspension from the Thunderbird, and the rear end is a rock solid Ford 9 inch rear end. Because the T-bird frame, this Roadster rides really well. The 302 engine is an early 70-s unit and is backed by a 2-speed Fordomatic transmission. The 302 engine has slightly higher compression, and 93 Octane gas is recommended. In front, is a chrome -32 Ford grille insert to give it the classic Hotrod look. The fiberglass body has been painted in a Mopar color known as -Goofy Grape-. It tends to look more blue than purple when photographed. The interior is cool, but with a practical touch. There is always the chance of being caught out in the rain, so the interior is made out the same upholstery used on boats. It will dry out in a matter of minutes.
