The 72 Mach 1 was not quite the car that it had been known as in the late 60-s but for those days it was still a very potent car. This tribute though originally a Mach 1 from the factory is better than any produced that year. After a complete nut and bolt build there was nothing left untouched with the finished product reflecting the time and effort. Starting with the engine, a built 351W roller crate engine was purchased straight through Ford Racing for the Mustang. Adding to the absolute badness of this Windsor is a set of GT40 heads increasing the HP output to a healthy 390 ponies. Matched up to a 4 speed top loader transmission this thing is an absolute blast to run through its paces. A built 9 inch rear end will easily handle the massive amount of torque of the engine making for a next to bulletproof drivetrain.
