The second generation Camaro was an instant success with the public. Its new lower and wider stance led way to its nickname -super hugger-. The 1971 Camaro received very little changes from 1970 which was a direct result from the late arrival of the 1970 model but the strike did not help things either. Even with all this going on GM still had a good looking car but in order to make it great you the RS package add on was required. This gave the car a much more masculine look with the grill plummeting out of the middle and two small chrome bumpers on either side it truly made the Camaro look like a totally different car. This 71 is believed to be an original real deal split bumper with its two round parking lights up top making it a dead giveaway. The red paint is slick and shows off the lines of this hopped up pony car while the black racing stripes compliment the lower spoiler perfectly.
