'Mustang' and 'Roush' have both been synonymous with V8 muscle for years. This RS1 breaks the mold in the best way possible. 2015 saw the introduction of the Ecoboost engine into the Ford Mustang - the first 4-cylinder turbo since the famed SVO from '84-'86. Roush saw this as an opportunity to capitalize on the performance of these new four-bangers and take them to the next level. With a cold-air intake, custom exhaust, a more aggressive body kit, and several other touches this RS1 is truly a horse of a different color!
With a factory rating of 310 horsepower, the Ecoboost Mustang is no slouch, but when Jack Roush runs his hands all through it (literally and figuratively, the vehicle is signed in two locations) a healthy bump up to 350 horsepower is the result, and it really flies! With the 6-speed manual, this really is a drivers car; light, agile, peppy, and beautiful body lines. The interior, however, may trick you into thinking you are in something much more luxurious.
