In 1964 Ford introduced the Mustang and they quickly became successful in the 2 door coupe category as Ford offered customers the choice of options essentially making Mustangs a made to order vehicle. 1978 marked the 25th year for America's supercar. A fresh designed body was rolled out with new 'fastback' styling compliments of the wrap around rear window. Though behind the seat space was added it was no longer a hatchback. The small block 350 was still the only available engine but was offered in a couple different trims with the most powerful being the L82. This particular L82 Vette has lived a rather pampered life being owned by the same person since 1983.
