The C3 Corvette BIG BLOCK was introduced in 1968 and many regard the '71 model year as the last for true performance before crushing federal emissions standards kicked in. This Corvette was originally ordered in Yellow but around 15 years ago it was repainted in Red, which as we all know is a fan favorite on these vehicles. A very clean fiberglass body, there does appear to have some sun-fading in places on the paint, but the car still presents very well. T-Tops are a desirable option and the custom wire wheels are a unique appearance touch. While the character lines on this sports car resemble most other Corvettes from 1971, the big block motor is a extremally desired and sought after, while only reserved for the select few and came with some appearance and handling upgrades such as a high-domed hood and larger stabilizer bars. This 454 CID V8 engine was rated at 365hp and is believed to be original to this vehicle (according to the seller's paperwork).
