The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro was produced by Chevrolet from 1970 through the 1981model years. It was introduced in the spring of 1970. The Chevelle was started off the Malibu platform to be an excellent daily driver and a true family car, and was built with a trim package known as the Chevelle. This would later be taken off as a trim and made into its own model in the later 1960's.
