Pushing into the late 60's the muscle car war was about to hit overdrive. Ford wanted to gain even more of the market and at the same time appeal to a more refined crowd. With that Ford set out to work and under their Mercury banner debuted the Cougar, a gentleman's muscle car. The Cougar would become Mercury's greatest success and see 8 generations spanning 34 years! Here we have a '70 Model. Walking around the car you fall in love with the Candy Apple Red. The paint and black vinyl top are in good shape and create a nice contrast. The dark red vinyl interior is also in good shape. Open the door and slide into the comfortable seat, turn the key and under that big hood the 351ci V8 roars to life! Power is ran to the ground through an automatic transmission. With the stripes, the hood, and the front and rear spoiler you get the look of the Eliminator for a fraction of the cost.
