This Chevrolet was purchased in 1980 and was completely disassembled, sand blasted, and rebuilt. Originality was a key part of the restoration, and the bar was certainly met with this build. The day restoration was complete this Business Coupe was a fair-weather driver, and always kept in a climate-controlled facility. The 216 CID six-cylinder engine is believed to be original to the 37- Chevrolet, as is the 3-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission have approximately 500 miles on them since being rebuilt, along with the rest of the car. The black exterior paint is by PPG and is accented by a double red pin stripe that runs down each side. The grayish brown cloth interior is in very good condition, showing little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 35,642, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 500 miles have been put on the car since the build was complete.
