Stuffed under the hood of this Polara lies a huge 540 cubic inch motor that is built with all the parts and with speed in mind. This Polara was built to go in a forward line as fast as possible and does a great job at doing so. The transmission has also been touched up to compensate for all the added power. An automatic 727 reverse valve body transmission is bolted up to that powerful engine and does a great job at getting the power to the Dana 60 rear end that has been equipped with 4:30 gearing to ensure for a very quick takeoff. This 32 was professionally built by The Kilbourne Rod Shop. The fiberglass body and Frame were made by Kilbourne. The steel hood and hood sides paired with a fiberglass grille shell. Powering this road warrior is a 355 CID Chevy V8, along side a Turbo 350 Automatic transmission with a Ford 8 inch, Posi-traction rear end. The exterior is painted in a deep gloss black with iconic red flames accented along beautiful blue pin striped borders. The custom removeable convertible top and side curtains were made by Rod Tops.
