1966 Ed Roth Trike

Big Daddy Ed Roth was an innovator in all things custom whether it be car, bikes or trikes throughout the 60's and 70's and beyond. Having been influenced and a part of the groovy culture of that time this Trike is wonderfully creative example.
The Trike has a silver metalflake base with blue striping over the design from heads to tail. Hanging just below the handle-bars is the correct chrome Roth Logo. In a laid-back design allowing for two up riding this one has all the power needed coming from a VW 1904cc rear mounted engine. All controls, including clutch, brakes and throttle are forward mounted for easy reach. A nice vintage touch is the addition of a Dodge Charger gas filler cap for the fuel take just ahead of a mini tachometer with a Drag Specialties Speedometer easily in sight. One of the cool features on this Trike is the original Rat Fink Shifter Knob to handle movement through the gears.
