This truck is a one of a kind build with a one of a kind story. Built with funding from dozens of donations and the vision of a boy with a dream, this hotrod came to life in a big way. Many people and teams that came together to lend a hand on this build and the outcome is fantastic. Washtenaw Community College took on most of the challenge and had help from the Ford Motor Company's prototype division to supply the drivetrain.

Whats under the hood is a long story by itself but we will highlight a few of the major details. The engine was built by Ford Motor Company's prototype division and is an absolute monster. Originally, Ford used this engine and rear end in a Crown Victoria police interceptor to run the Cannon ball 'Lap of America'. It is a 4. 6L 4 valve Cobra engine with a kenne-Bell supercharger. While the prototype division of Ford wont release detailed build information on this truck, it is said to be pumping out over 600 horsepower.

The 69-70 fastback Mustang is widely regarded by enthusiasts as the greatest looking body style of the classic pony car. This 69 Fastback is finished in an eye catching Calypso Coral and features a matte black hood and side decals. As you walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice details like the decklid spoiler, window louvers and meaty Polyglas tires. This bad boy was completed on the 17th of November and sold on December 22nd in 1969. Ordered in Grabber Blue with the extra options of, Rear Deck Spoiler, Shaker hood Scoop, Sport Slats, Power Steering (Has been removed), AM Radio, Tinted Glass Complete, Traction-Lok Differential, and Sports Wheel Covers. Under the hood lies the original 302-4V V8 paired to a 4-speed Close Ratio Manual transmission. The shaker scoop sits aggressively in the middle of the hood and helps feed oxygen into the thirsty engine! Inside the car sports its Black Rhino/Corinthian Vinyl Bucket seats that goes perfectly with the Grabber blue paint. The odometer currently sits 20,643 miles.
