The Ford Fox platform was used by Ford Motor Company in North America from 1978 to 1993; a substantial redesign of the Ford Mustang in 1994 extended its life another eleven years. With the exception of the Panther platform, the Fox platform is the longest-produced vehicle architecture by Ford Motor Company. This Fox Body has been repainted in a later model factory dark metallic gray. To set off the exterior look of the Mustang, a 5 lug conversion has been completed with a set of 10th Anniversary Wheels.
