The original light blue paint has been meticulously cared for throughout the years and it definitely shows! Thanks partly to this car never having been driven in inclement weather. Both owners of this 4th Generation Thunderbird treated it much like it was a part of their family. It was stored indoors at all times and put away during winter months only driven for enjoyment in most cases. The original 390 cubic inch V8 starts with the greatest of ease and purrs like a kitten. With just over 12,000 miles on a complete rebuild and never having missed a scheduled maintenance this thing runs down the road better than when it was new. Helping transmit the power to the road is the 3 speed automatic transmission that has also been professionally rebuilt around the same time as the engine. Sitting behind the swing-a-way steering wheel takes you back in time to when aviation and vehicles shared each others styling ques.
