The consignor states this piece of Ford history, is a 3-owner example, which had been completely redone in 1963, by the previous owner when he bought the car - selling it in 2015 to the current owner. The previous owner was a very much hands-on gentleman - as he did the restoration on many cars - this being his favorite! He updated the engine by installing a 1946 Flat Head V-8 adding a whopping 30 more horses - and retained the paperwork and warranty card! The car was originally Green, and was repainted in Red. You can tell this car has been pampered just by the over-all condition of a 57-yr old restoration! When purchased in 2015, the seller informed the buyer that the engine has 8-10k miles since the rebuild - and now estimates she has no more than 11k-miles! Her power is handled through a 3-speed manual transmission, and runs fine. This Cabriolet is what GCC would consider to be a driver quality paint job - and shows well at 10'.
